Sotomayor's confirmation hearings to begin July 13
JULIE HIRSCHFELD DAVIS / Associated Press - WASHINGTON (AP) - Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy announced Tuesday that confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor will convene on July 13, earlier than Republicans wanted.
